Are you thinking about pursuing further education but concerned about the cost? Good news! Dot offers tuition reimbursement for employees to pursue their educational aspirations.

All full-time employees who have been with Dot for a minimum of one year before enrolling in a college class are eligible to receive reimbursement for up to 90% of education expenses. This program applies to education courses that are part of the instruction required to achieve Associate, Bachelor, Master or professional degrees that will improve your Dot job skills.

Here’s how the program works:

  1. Select the course(s) you would like to take.
  2. Obtain all of the information for registration and tuition, including the Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) award letter/nonletter, fee information, and a general description of the course to present to your manager for approval.
  3. Once the course is complete, send the education reimbursement form, receipts for tuition and fees along with a transcript showing your grade of at least a C to the manager for approval.
  4. Your reimbursement percentage for tuition, fees, and pre-approved materials that were purchased as a requirement for the specific course will depend on the grade you received for the course:

GRADE

A – 90% reimbursement

B – 75% reimbursement

C – 50% reimbursement

Pass – 50% reimbursement

Savannah Riese, Corporate Content Writer, is working toward her Master’s degree in Strategic Communication through the University of Iowa online graduate school. Here’s what she has to say about Dot’s tuition reimbursement program: “Dot has been very supportive of me and my decision to pursue higher education. I am grateful to have an employer who can provide these kinds of benefits.”
