Dot Foods to Begin Construction on Tennessee Distribution Center

Dot Foods will soon break ground on its 13th North American distribution center; this time in Manchester, Tennessee. Construction on the 177,000 square foot facility is scheduled to begin late this summer with an estimated completion date of fall 2023. The DC is projected to bring 250 jobs to the Central Tennessee community.

Dot Transportation, Inc. (Dot Foods’ affiliate transportation company) has already launched driver-focused hiring efforts. Administrative and warehouse positions will be posted and filled nearer to the completion date in 2023. Located centrally between Chattanooga and Nashville, Manchester has a population of 11,000 people. It is also a massively popular summer destination for music lovers as it is the home of the iconic Bonnaroo Music Festival which attracts between 80,000 and 100,000 fans each year.

Manchester will be the second Tennessee distribution center after Dyersburg which opened in 2015.
