The Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams at Dot are keeping up with the times by constantly evolving and updating their technologies.

In AP and AR, prior to the current upgrades everything was hard-copy paper and had to be manually routed around the company and even among Distribution Centers (DCs). Today, we have AP Workflow, so all AP processes and documents have been digitalized. This means no more handwritten notes, paper BuckSlips, or lost documents. In the words of Eric Bouche, AP Manager, “AP WorkFlow has not only been a help to AP and Accounting, but to the entire business to streamline the invoice routing, coding and approval process, as well as improved our financial reporting accuracy.”

The Expressway is one of the first places customers will discover new products and ultimately buy them from Dot. It has developed into one of the primary ways we stay connected with our customers. Over the years, more and more features have been released to help customers manage their business with Dot. This has evolved it into so much more than just a selling tool. “We aspire for the Expressway to be THE go-to platform in the food industry to source products,” said Cullen Andrews, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Expressway 2.0 is currently being built to provide a top-notch user experience and to continue to drive new business for Dot and our customers.

Technology is constantly evolving in AP and AR, providing a strong platform to support Dot’s employees, customers and suppliers.
